NORTHEAST GAUL. Meldi. Circa 60-30/25 BC. AE (Bronze, 20 mm, 2.92 g, 12 h). Stylized head to left, with ring-shaped eye; around, small crescents, ringlets and globules. Rev. Bird standing left with wings spread, holding a boar (?) in its claws; around, four annulets and two S's. DT 588. LT 7606. Scheers, Traité 513. Struck from a slightly worn obverse die and with a few spots of porosity, otherwise, very fine.
